As a follow-on to this thought, there is a body of research that suggests happiness is not a destination. It is in the journey that we find true happiness. What we want, what we desire to achieve, leads us on our journeys throughout life, and it is in these journeys we find happiness. It is also in these journeys where we make our mistakes, mistakes that ultimately do not define us... unless of course, we give up.
