Don't you just love friendly, patient, knowledgeable sales reps?

Tonight I walked into Verizon and said to the concierge in the corner by the door, "Yes, you can help me! I need a new phone and I need it NOW." A young man a few feet away stepped up. "If you'll follow me, we'll get right on that." (IF I would follow him? Tall, broad-shouldered, great smile...wouldn't YOU follow him?) Our business was done in fifteen minutes, and I didn't even have to shell out any 'real' money. All charged to my account. (Yes, I do know I still have to pay it.) He didn't try to upsale, he actually listened, and he was quick.

I'm gonna miss him.

Why? Did you kill him?
@Serenitree ROFL. No, I didn't KILL him. I just left him at the store and if there's nothing wrong with the phone and nothing wrong with me that prevents me from figuring out what the phone's doing, I will never see him again. A 15 minute relationship, which I sometimes think are the best kind.

@Mamapolo2016 😊Oh, good. I thought we might have to bake you a cake, with a file.

@Serenitree :) That should be signed, "Merrily, Sue."
That's funny. I said to Michael (his name is Michael)...what kind of phone did I just buy? I know people are going to ask....it's an i6 SL. (The SL, I think, may stand for 'slow lady'.) I got it because it resembled my old phone, operates much the same, so there's not much of a learning curve.
