Can't we accept unhealthy people? As in... Not making them feel bad about being fat, still respectfully motivate them to change?
There's so many unhealthy things the average people do. People only focus on fat people cause they can see it.

I think it's sad too. Our country needs to be encouraging it's citizens to be as healthy as they can. Yes, losing weight is difficult, but that doesn't mean impossible. And, it just feels better to be healthy.

I have mixed feelings about it. Everybody has the right to be treated with respect; viewed as more than their exterior. Maybe not bullying people will somehow help some get fit and healthy on their own terms, in their own time. Shaming them isn’t, after all. We already do that, and there are more obese people per capital than ever before. 🤔

@wildrosez I’ve found people are a little afraid of diabetics. I don’t have to take insulin, but I do have to check my blood a couple of times a day. It’s routine, and I try to do it discreetly when I’m visiting someone. But people gasp and avert their eyes. 😅
