Ever have someone close to you let you down at a critical moment?

I can say this has been the reason for me to stop trusting a few people I was close to. Maybe that's unreasonable but when you REALLY need help or someone to talk to and that person doesn't support you, that's it. I'm not sure I can help it, I just shut down towards that person and never let them in again.
