The NRA is saying that anti-gun liberals are exploiting the Florida shootings. Seriously?

For their political agenda, yes, of course they are
@strongbow And Trump isn't using Islamic terrorism for his political agenda?
strongbow · 46-50, M
@strongbow OK. Nice to hear.
@strongbow What about Mexican immigration? Trump isn't exploiting that?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@strongbow Students and student organizations around the country have organized these marches, not liberals. I'm quite sure - and I say this out of experience with the Orlando Pulse shootings - the town of Parkland would have loved a few days to grieve and come down from shock, but they've had to push back at the onslaught of media and government using this to exploit and agenda, and that makes people cranky. Both sides of the argument should be ashamed. This is not a gun control crisis; this was a human mass casualty tragedy.

@Graylight its really too bad that this issue was not addressed during the prior mass shootings. we could have avoided this one.

@akindheart And that's the simple truth no one wants to admit.

@Graylight the students themselves....the ones that were tragically effected....turned it into a cry for help. It is a gun problem and nothing else. The proliferation of guns and the idiocy of weapons designed solely to kill is a problem unique to the US. We have more guns and far more related deaths than any civilized nation. To put off discussion is another tragedy
