Do you think you would go through life without noticing some 'flaws' if no one told you about them?

I have tiny scar under my nose (or did, haven't looked for years for that sort of thing). My friend asked me about it, how I got it, I had no idea and no idea where it was from. If she never pointed it out, I'm sure I'd never notice it. lol

I don't t think we see are imperfections as flaws until someone tells show undesirable it it or points out that it is wrong in some way. For example. when I was a child, I didn't see anything "wrong" with my nose at all until someone pointed out that it looked like a "pig nose." Now, I can't see anything but a pig nose when I look in the mirror. :/
