Have Brits now heaved a huge sigh of relief ... ?
KFC says stores are starting to reopen
6 minutes ago.

KFC says some of the outlets which had to close when delivery problems meant they ran out of chicken have reopened.

Latest figures show that 470 of the fast-food chain's 900 outlets in its UK-based division were shut as of 13:00 on Tuesday.

That compares with 575 that were closed at 21:00 on Monday.
@cherokeepatti Good Q.
I have no idea.

@Nimbus They may be getting the chicken from the USA, the weird thing is that that American poultry companies have started shipping the chickens to China for processing and then returning them...yuck, why to save a bit of money? OR to do the old switcheroo on the chickens. Either way yuck, yuck, yuck....I buy whole chickens from a health food grocery store.

@cherokeepatti What a convoluted way to obtain stock!
Cluck, cluck, cluck :)

@Nimbus Everything to take jobs out of this country...imagine all the polluting fuel being spewed into the atmosphere by those cargo ships going back-and-forth in this process? More jobs for Chinese food processors and more jobs for Chinese shippers, wonder how many politicians got a fat wad of cash to allow it?

@cherokeepatti Good point.
It's amazing how that after all those costs they can still sell chicken cheaply.
