Definitely not my day today.
Had to walk in the rain for 15 minutes. Soon as I get in the car the sun comes out and rain stops . Loool still can't complain though.

I was driving my Daughters truck a few days ago ,
she has had brake problems and I keep telling her to get the part and I'll fix them ,we know what the problem is .
But as I am driving it ,in the High School ,the brakes go to the floor and I have all these students in front of me without a care in the world .
so quick thinking I throw it in reverse and punch it ,it stops the truck and since I broke traction it did not damage anything and the noise made the kids clear the way .
I shut it off ,,the brain resets the ABS and it has brakes again .
(I can by pass the ABS all together until she gets the part but she won't hear of it )
So we come back to pick the kids up ,I tell her to call them and make them come to the truck and not get in that position again ,but she says it only does that once in a while and she knows what to do .
As we come down the same street ,we are stopped and the truck won't stop ,
the emergency brake is crap .So I just throw it in reverse as I am telling her to punch it ...
We get pulled over and here comes the cops ,someone has shot at a school in Jacksonville and they are on high alert .
After she shuts it off ,when its cranked again ,again it has brakes .
I explain to the cop the breaks failed and he lets us go with no hassles .
But people ask why I believe in God so much .
He has not let us kill someones kid yet LOL
I am bypassing the ABS ,,she can get mad or get the part
I am not making a habit of tempting God ...
So I get the rain thing too ,,I live in Florida ,thats norm for me
I get soaked and then it quits raining .
Time to quit putting off getting my Mustang legal ,I do not want to kill someones kid ,I know how precious mine are to me ,if I knew it was someone not taking a problem seriously ,,,I think I would kill them ,take my chances with a jury ,
I am glad I am used to running boats ,,full throttle reverse is how you stop them
so I always had that in my mind to do that if my breaks ever failed ,,
I am thankful it worked ,not once but twice .
I am glad you are a guy who is not easily shaken too Brother

@rckt148 Thank God no one got hurt! Good thinking on your end to Brother to chuck in to reverse....yikes.
Too true, that's why I always smile and keep counting my blessings. I have hardships but I know my struggles can't compare with what some go through and my blessings outweigh the challenges.
