Do you feel like you restrict yourself more than you should?

Like this stupid fucking inner voice in your head that tells you not to do things. Then you waste time deciding whether or not to do them and eventually make your decision based on impulse? I think I restrict myself more than my parents. My parents are pretty open-minded and even if they weren’t, I don’t listen to them, anyway. I feel like it’s me who keeps restricting me- I have no clue why

I'm doing my best to change my inner talk. Meditating on infinite possibility, my plan is to have more of a capacity to be open to different outcomes. So far it's having interesting effects.

@Feuerwehrmann I think what changed things for me was the last book I read. It's called 'You are the placebo'. I would recommend reading or listening to it if you need motivation to meditate.
