It doesn't say anything to me apart from we are all individuals and you couldn't put this many people in one room and expect them all to like each other and get along. There's too many diverse personalities..

I think some people seem to forget that these are real people here, not just words and images on a screen.

I don't know if this is true of all the abusive or rude people here, but I suspect that some people who force themselves to be nice to everyone they meet in person may have a lot of aggression built up inside them, and they choose to let loose with all of it and lash out when they come online, and perhaps when they're talking on the phone to customer service reps too.

I worked in a call center, doing customer service over the phone, for almost a year and a half, and the abuse that I had to put up with eventually started to take a toll not only on my mental health, but also on my physical health as well.

It's easy to be rude, and even downright cruel, when you don't have to see the reactions of your targets.

No people skills and a lack of common decency
