@antoniotomato oh stop, get yourself some good snow boots. i bet they're on sale at Dicks now
antoniotomato · 31-35, M
The opposite of a sale actually...

But I just wear the rubber overshoes. I think they work better, especially when this starts melting
KaysHealingPath · 36-40, F
@antoniotomato really i just got an email for snow boots starting at 39.99 and winter jackets at 40-60%off
antoniotomato · 31-35, M
Wow.. not bad... I wouldn't consider spending less than 200 on snow boots just because I've seen enough people get cheap pairs, and they don't last. Or they are as water resistant as tennis shoes.

The rubber overshoes are usually about 30-40 bucks for a good pair... so it works out pretty well.

@antoniotomato i think i saw an advert for those too. but the columbia boots they have at $40 now my husband paid about 160 for them a year and a half ago.
antoniotomato · 31-35, M
That's not bad really. I really don't need em though.

I might get a nice pair next year with spikes in the bottom. I'm so tired of basically climbing up hills on all four because you keep sliding downhill... that sucks.
KaysHealingPath · 36-40, F
@antoniotomato ooo i saw these really cool traction slip ons for shoes on amazon!!!

i got some for my kids (unfortunately they lost them) but they worked really good!!!
antoniotomato · 31-35, M
My company made us all go out and buy the slip one, but they slip off the back of your heel. It starts to feel like ur dragging this thing around that gets snagged in things you can't see under the snow...

Im sure there are ones that are a lot better than the ones they gave us though.
KaysHealingPath · 36-40, F
@antoniotomato well that sucks. you'd think they'd want to look out for their employees safety and etc
antoniotomato · 31-35, M
That's y they made us buy em.

We just have a company account at home depot, so they told us to use that. The selection at home depot sucks. We all pitched. Maybe next year they will have them with the hoodies and t shirts u can get sent to u from the company... but we all worry they will pick out a pair that are worse than these.

I'd rather just get over it and buy the really nice boots though, u know?

@antoniotomato i fully understand
