When did our generation become so sensitive?

@Novaturient81 well of course not but for example the word nigger i can understand people being angry but they should be black i don't care if someone says omg you can't say it like my sister while i have black friends that tell me its completely fine. if one of my black friends says he doesn't like it i'll not say it too him but i don't need someone random to say uuhm you can't say that while i'm talking to the guy i can say it too.

and i don't even use it in a derogatory sense, i use it as the term for black guy and it was easy since he was the only black guy in the group.

but i'm autistic i can react all kind s of ways on certain things and from a young age i learned have a thick skin or else you can't function in society but today OMG SOMEONE FEELINGS ARE HURT CALL THE COPS AND BEAT HIM!

I think the N word shouldn't be used at all, from any race.

The word itself is degrading. Even when used in an affectionate way.

i understand where you're coming from and i'd agree if it was an insult but its not its a actual word used as a bad word but because people react you give the word power. for example using gay as an insult its now a word for both happy anda guy loving a guy and because people react ot it like its a bad word thats what gives it power.

so i don't think its degrading the word it self. but i'll be polite enough to not use it when asked if they are a black person.

yeah i don't mind you saying it. this seems like a healthy answer/discussion.

i jsut don't like people saying i can't use certain words. its an official word in the dictionary so its legal to say it :p or else they should take it out and say its bogus and then the kids who are born today think its something nonsensical

i wouldn't really care :p but we use it in a way as in jokingly insulting or something specific to make them notice that you are talking to them.

if i come out of a fast food shop they would say theres the fatman! which i would find funny unless i had a tummy ache :p
i have learned to have a thick skin and learn to accept that people sometimes mean it funny and i'll always laugh and if it really bothers me then i'd ask them to not ever say it again. but that has never happened.
