No,I did not.But I do know that wherever big money is to made,big organisations (including governments) will be hidden from sight financing it.
Be fair. We needed the poppies from Iran and Afghanistan - wait, remind me why we needed them again?

Why,to remember the heroic acts ofthose whogave their lives in WW2....wasnt it?*pukes copiously*
Try ginger ale.
I've been wondering for a long time why, knowing its effects, people use heroin for the first time. Now we know. They've already got the addiction, just trying to find a way to quiet the beast.

@Mamapolo2016 I find detaching myself as far as possible from others works best.
Been there, felt that. As I grow older (maybe because I'm cramming for Finals) I feel like somebody should do something about something.
This is not original, but 'if not us, then who? If not now, then when?'

We know the government, the military, the churches can't or won't do it...

@Mamapolo2016 "They" have had millenia to fine adjust the system we are all born into,and have technology which the majority would not believe exists.And the longer time passes without people waking up to what is being heisted on them in secret,the more the odds tip in their favour.
Yep. Fat and stupid. Me included. Joseph de Maistre who died in 1821 said, 'Every nation gets the government it deserves.'

@Mamapolo2016 Respect to you.
I learned a lot about government bureaucracy when I worked for the Dept of Welfare. For example, as a new caseworker, I saw a client slap his 6 mo old child hard on the back of his head. I reported it to my supervisor who took the information and said he'd take care of it.

I asked him about it every day. After two weeks, he told me that the 'designated child abuse person' had retired four years earlier and had not been replaced.

@Mamapolo2016 NEVER trust the authorities.
@pedrohedgerow Thanks. But what are we going to DO? (A general question, not directed at you but at me.)
@pedrohedgerow I was more shockable then and I was deeply shocked. He finally told me I was making him uncomfortable and to please return to my cubicle.

I did, and upon arrival, called Child Welfare, which I was forbidden to do. Do I have any faith they did anything? No. It still hurts my conscience.

@Mamapolo2016 The most precious asset we have,and will ever have,are our souls,and that is what this world is all about,the battle between good and evil,is my opinion.
Mine too. It's so out of style.
