Has anyone ever heard voices and how did you get rid of them?

@SW-User I meditated and tried to "channel" a spirit without knowing what I was doing, basically. Then... I read some bullshit new age stuff online (www.heavenletters.org do not believe the texts there). and then: BAM. Voices. :/ Definitely not a new age fan, anymore...

@MeAloned Renounce Satan and pray to Jesus Christ for deliverance. That's the number one thing I would do. This stuff can get really, really dangerous. I'll be praying for you.

@MeAloned So you didn't start hearing voices until after you read about them?

@KayraJordyn thank you... I do understand the theme of christianity since I once sold my soul to Satan and my life got shit because of it. Even though I wasn't even christian lol.

@MeAloned Two years ago I was starting to develop mild symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia and it all started by messing around with that new age shit. Once I repented, it stopped after one more "hallucination". So take what you will from that.

@Zer0Point Yes. Before that... I had more of a spiritual "contact" with kind spirits that I could channel on/off. But then... after I read these dumb new agean "God letters" by some other channeller named Gloria, I started feeling like God was watching me. And then... for some reason... I began hearing voices that said mean things to me and tried to take over me. Ridiculous really... but lol, it's life x(

@MeAloned "ridiculous" til it starts to fuck you up in the head. Can't be playing around with that. It is written in scripture that a demon which is casted out can come back 7 times worse if you make a home for it. If you keep playing around with this shit, it's gonna get worse.

@MsFugger Haha xD Well I don't really know 100% what occultism is but... I do believe in angels. But not really "demons", for some reason. I guess you could call these voices demons if you'd like to.

@SW-User True. I'm trying not to play around much with this though. What I'm thinking is that I must get rid of them as quickly as possible. It feels like being a celebrity in your own head. The voices know shit about me, and almost makes "headlines" of my "scandals".

@MsFugger lmao. I'm a very sane person. Hearing voices is no bigger deal than putting a pair of headphones on your head, listening to a recording of some random people talking. I don't think it's a big deal, really. Just annoying. :/

@MeAloned Yeah, they're condemning you. Trying to make you feel so much self hatred or make you feel bad about yourself to bring you down to a low. From there that's when it gets life threatening...

@SW-User Yeah... they sure have tried to do so. It did make me suicidal for a while, but honestly, there are better reasons to kill oneself for than voices. I realized all of my voices are losers. I mean... if they're a real spiritual thing... that means they're real people who actually know stuff about me? Who the hell cares? Only a loser would care about bullying me, etc.

And if they're just hallucinations... well... I'd still consider these voices losers 🤔

@KayraJordyn And thank you for telling me to talk to someone as well. I do try to talk about it but I don't want people to get the wrong idea of me. It's actually not scary at all. Just annoying. Like being bullied by strangers, but since I'm very confident nowadays (I used to be less confident when it started out) it doesn't bother me so much.

I'm glad you've found your confidence. I have yet to find a good reason to commit suicide, though when I was feeling suicidal I thought I had a few. People will see what they want to see. If someone you trust is available, that would be awesome.
