I think it's a shame that this story is part of a media conversation about sexual assault and sexual harassment because it isn't either of those things.

This separate conversation is still worth having but it can't be compared to rapists like Weinstein. It's about men feeling that we have to be the ones to push sex because women are attractive and men are not, so if we don't ask for sex and push boundaries then it won't happen.

@CheshireCatalyst I should probably clarify that I think this is not a good thing, and it's something I've grown up believing but I wouldn't want my children to grow up believing.

@CheshireCatalyst @CheshireCatalyst I would not compare this to Harvey Weinstein but ,yes it is still important to discuss ...it is important to have an understanding of these things

@SW-User that's how almost all the men I know have been taught to think about sex. We have to convince women that it's a good idea because otherwise they won't see the appeal of it, and even at times maybe they won't want it but afterwards they'll be glad that it happened because it was great.

... Like I said before I don't think it's a good thing, and I try not to let that feeling dictate my behaviour, but that's the way I've been instructed by TV, movies, books, songs, school.

@CheshireCatalyst commuincation is very important on both sides ...men and woman need to have this conversation so that both know where each other stands in those circumstances, that way there is no confusion ....in other words no means no ...but also women and men need to stop playing games and be upfront with their real intentions ....
