Since the winter is so mild will the spring of 2018 be severe?

Probably. But I live oklahoma so i'm used to it lol I've seen 3 tornadoes in my life and even though it can be scary as hell it's an exhilirating experience.

I didn't. But I watched it happen on tv. Some people here actually chase them for a hobby lol

Come here around april and may and you probably will. They touch down pretty often around where I live which is the northeast corner of the state. But if you go toward oklahoma city or areas in the center of the state it's almost a garantee you'll be near one at some point.
