@bijouxbroussard bc you see it's her personal thing for who she fancies, as long as she doesn't act out on those,it's good. Another example for the same would be when you hate someone so much that you wanna literally kill them, it's not a bad thing as long as you don't actually kill them. Besides you can't govern what someone fancies or imagines, you see?

@SlytherinGuy Yes, we can indeed decide what goes on in our own minds. It's called conditioning.

@bijouxbroussard well not the wisest thing but it happens with people so often in different forms/situations, it just gets normalised. Just as hate is not exactly a wisest feeling, fancying someone who's married isn't the most pious of feelings either.

@KayraJordyn have you ever found yourself trying not to think about something and end up thinking about it even more? I think most of us have gone through that. I don't have a psychology major but I believe conditioning is basically beating yourself up about something so minor and leads to guilt for feeling a certain way and guilt always leads to sadness.

There are healthier alternatives to that, but that's okay. :-) Yeah, I know what it's like to serve myself. To worry about my own needs. I just work not to cater to my baser instincts because I believe we are called to be braver than that. Its not easy, but it makes me feel happier, more fulfilled and closer to what I'm called to do.
