Is this called helping?

Not long before, a person I talked to regularly confessed to me that they have been sending our private messages to another person, who is a person of considerable authority. The reason was that the person of authority, who does not relate or have any kind of close relationship to me in any way, was concerned about me, and was asking for the messages so that they can send it to a psychiatrist to analyze my condition and 'help' me. This immediately explain why people have been treating me differently, as if I was something both breakable and dangerous.

The person I talked to apologized sincerely, and I somehow forgave them. I, however, could not ignore the fact that someone has gone through all this procedures behind my back for almost a year. I do not feel any strong emotions towards this fact, still, it does not cease to bother me.

Was the person of authority's action justifiable? Was it a breach of privacy? Was it right for them to treat me as if I have no say in the matter?

You're right to question why this person would want to consult a stranger of authority about you when they could just as easily have come to you first !
But if you've heard nothing more about what or why.......Not worth worrying about is it ?
@Picklebobble2 It just concerns me that privacy could be breached so easily. I don't open myself often, and on this rare occasion I hapoen to open myself up, they somehow think that they could do anything with the informations.
