Anyone else going away for the holidays?

I'm going way up to Northern Ca. to the country and having an old -fashioned Christmas, there will be snow and a cozy fireplace, looking forward to that. Are you going anywhere?

I'll be at home... but I am planning to go to Istanbul in May to celebrate a friend's birthday...

We do decorate Christmas trees as something fun and nice not as a tradition..

This was my first ever this year.. lol

Honey that's just so gorgeous. As you may know, I'm actually an atheist, but I love the spirit of the holiday, the gaudy colors. gift giving, the fabulous food and music. More than that, I relish the happy, laughing and joy of the little ones. Have fun (((HUGS)))

@Soossie I miss him so very much, makes me want to cry when I think of it, the last Christmas before he died he sent me a heart filled note enclosed was a generous packet of money, that really touched me since he wasn't into holidays and gift giving. and I had told him NOT to ever send me money...he could be ever so stubborn. But we loved him anyway.
