even though by definition i might be an atheist i go by agnostic theist because i don't like the connotations that come with being one. because all the famous ones get famous on being inflammatory or just being assholes which i highly disagree with.

I'm an atheist, but I generally assume that other atheists are obnoxious about their beliefs just because of the way I've seen them act online. I know that the few I've seen aren't representative of the whole (especially because I'm not like that), but it still makes me wary of talking about religion even with people that share the same beliefs I do.

Sure:

1. Most prefer logical arguments.
2. Religion bothers them to the point that some see it as oppression that needs to end.
3. They had dissappointments in their life.

Those come to mind right away though I’m sure I have some more.

We all have for each other. Like, they are systematically made at schools and by media, just like us, religious are made at home, my parents.

I am one, so there's no preconceptions here.

In person. Honestly? No. I've known way too many atheists in my life for me to think and expect the same from all of them. Maybe subconsciously I do, because I believe everyone has preconceived notions to some extent.

There's a few excessive ones online that scream "don't shove your religion down my throat' while simultaneously doing the same with their ideas, but there's looney tunes everywhere from all walks of life so meh. I couldn't give two shits about another persons beliefs so long as they were decent.
