It is rather disturbing when personal twitter, tumbler and FB post are copied and shared with out any regard for the author or any advance permission to do so.

But you seem to thrive in doing that.

Would you like your SW posts (ones that were NOT copies from another social site) copied by strangers and posted elsewhere? Where perhaps they may ridicule you?

@Elandra77 who’s ridiculing the poster? if you don’t like sharing jokes then don’t do it, but personally, i’m fully aware that what i post may be shared by others. that’s the nature of the internet
@SW-User That is a misuse of the internet. It is not yours to copy and share to begin with. What if that person was a member here and did not wish to have that posted here, so it was posted on Twitter? You have just violated their wishes.

i understand sharing a link to a post. That is another story. But a direct copy and paste of the post along with the users name or perhaps real name is very wrong. Celebrity- politician- they are fair game. But not private citizens.

You have a lot to learn about the internet and privacy issues.

@Elandra77 first of all, this tweet is from a verified account, indicating that the person behind it is a public person. second of all, twitter is a public forum. what is shared there is public. tweets can be retweeted, tumblr posts can be reblogged, facebook posts shared. if you don’t want something shared on the internet, don’t post it. the internet works like the newspaper. if you wouldn’t publish it in a newspaper, don’t post it online

also, this is a picture of a cake, not one sharing any personal information
@SW-User As a woman much older than you I am fully aware of what a cake is.

Goodbye. Any attempt to educate you on legal issues and internet law are wasted on you .
