I'm getting very fat

I've always been chubby but I've been getting a lot fatter recently. I love my food and I'm always snacking on something. I'm a big junk food fan as well, and I usually end up having McDonalds or Burger King almost every day. In the last few months, I've really been chunking out, and I now weigh almost 300lbs.

My belly is getting very large and I've had to buy a lot of new clothes. But the funny thing is that I'm quite happy with being fat. I actually like the way my soft belly looks, and the fact that my friends call me "big boy" and "porker" doesn't bother me.

I'm quite enjoying being fat.

My friend, you may enjoy your new self, but please think of your ''health''', we all know that being overweight is not great for health...
I know very well, I am not a string bean either.... Please watch the fast food, as we all have to do, as it's soo damn delicious.., YUM!!! ;)

@Beachyguy It's hard to watch the fast food when I enjoy it so much. I just feel that I'm at the stage where I've let myself go and have no motivation to get back in shape. I love eating a lot and I'm comfortable with my appearance. I know eventually I will need to lose some weight but I'm not motivated to do that whilst I'm enjoying my current life so much.

@Fatboy Ok My friend, I totally agree, we have to ''want''' to diet and lose weight, it has to happen on our terms, and when we are ready, but please, don't wait until it's so late that you have such a huge hurdle to overcome, that you just give up hope, and place your head in the sand.... We want to see you live a long and happy healthy life!!! :)

Not a very healthy decision on your part. The body tends to be very forgiving at your age. But it will change drastically as you age. If you choose to stay in this condition, your body will encounter many health problems in the future. Better get into shape while you are young, much easier to do. Start walking and burn off some calories. Good luck in your quest, be happy but treat your body right, respect it and it will work wonders for you.

@therighttothink50 Thanks for your advice.I kind of think the opposite- as you say, whilst you're young, why not enjoy being able to pig out on junk food and eat and drink whatever you want. When you get older, then you have to look after yourself a bit more.

I've always hated exercise so walking isn't my favourite activity, but I'll try to do more. I understand that keeping active is important to your health.

Will you enjoy having diabetes and hwart problems?

@Moonii This is the question that always gets the weirdest answers. I've been told that fat people don't get diabetes. Skinny people just use that as a scare tactic.

Do you want to lose weight?
Fatboy · 22-25, M
@Lovelyelaine101 Not really. Ideally, I would be fit and slim, but I'd rather be able to eat and drink as much as I want. Having a bigger belly gives you a bigger appetite too, so you can eat more of what you like. Plus, being chubby is kinda part of my character- I'm the "fat lad" of my group of friends, and most of their jokey nicknames for me relate to my size.
