Hmmm? If I don't know what I'm sad about, I mentally run through an inventory of events, losses, failures, mistakes, resentments, regrets, etc. in my life that are sad or regrettable. That helps me identify what I'm feeling sad about. Then I work an accommodation in my heart, soul and mind so I can get on with my otherwise happy life. My inventory list has about 50 items on it, starting at my earliest memories. I can usually say BINGO within the first 10 :)
