I'll go for relative reality☺

@SW-User I used to choose that one too, but lately I leaning toward Rational Reality... and I'm not associating it with "rationalizing"... so there's a difference.
SW-User
@roarke What's the difference?🤔
roarke · 61-69, M
@SW-User I use "rational" as the dict. def. "rationalizing" I see as "making specific excuses" to define or justify... yeah, it's connotation and semantics, but what isn't?
SW-User
Ah! Whatever, I get you! Very US though... lots of justifying and blaming. I'll stick with relative as it'll depend where you are - cultural differences and all that
roarke · 61-69, M
@SW-User hmm you know, that's the sixth time I've seen a reference to the US and perceptions of culture....each country and continent seems to have a favorite.... yeah, the US is a definite focal point, their foreign policies have made it so... but it doesn't represent the average person in said country. Over millennia, each geographic culture has had a turn and will again. the human species is flawed in a cyclic fashion. Better to concentrate on the good every human puts forth and not the cultural negatives.

@roarke Only in reference to your preference for relative reality. It wouldn't apply in Europe. If course there are faults and weaknesses in Europe as there are many strengths in the US. But it's a culture where there seems to be a dearth of responsibility-taken and a high level of bkamers. But as each culture is different and differences within those cultures too I'm still going with relative reality
roarke · 61-69, M
@SW-User heh, viva la difference. I wish Chinese and Indian and aboriginal cultures were as widely known and explored in depth as N.Amer. UK, Euro, if all cultures held an equal presence in the world, it'd be a far better place. so yeah, I go with rational reality now. At least until they forcibly implant the chip in my skull. lol
SW-User
@roarke Haha!🙃 However, it's really only in the US that these cultures don't have a big presence. In Europe, certainly in England cultures such as China and India are big
roarke · 61-69, M
I forget L.G. what country are you from?
SW-User
@roarke I'm from the US but live in England
roarke · 61-69, M
ah, well, you have an expanded awareness then.
SW-User
@roarke I hope so
