Of killing myself. Luckily those days and nights are behind me.

@PeanutsauntieP1982 do you know what triggered it to stop?

Well, it was a slow process. You see, a bit over ten years ago I woke up during surgery. I knew from having seen the movie"Awake", that waking up during surgery is very rare, and after it happened to me, I had flashbacks the entire time I was awake, and nightmares about it when I slept. But then about a year and a half later, I finally met another Anesthesia Awareness survivor, and meeting her changed my life. For as bad as my experience was, hers was worse; she woke up during half a dozen surgeries. After she challenged me, and made me make a promise, and after I started making good on those, that's when I stopped being focused so much on my misery, I stopped wanting to kill myself.
