Our family tied the Guinness record for most living generations (7)

My younger sister has two children and I have one due in April. Two of our great great great grandparents are still living at 102 and 104.

It's interesting to us, but Gladys Sweeting is in her nineties: making her the youngest great great great grandmother. She could possibly (unlikely) see 8 generations.

WOW, that's super cool! SEVEN GENERATIONS!? Y'all should be proud of yourselves! I consider myself fortunate enough to have known 4 of my great grandparents. We have 4 generations alive on my mom's side of the family.

@PeanutsauntieP1982 I don't really know them. I suppose it gives me hope for a long life- except I've had more than my share of illness.

@SW-User For us, the interesting thing was how we looked alike and where we got our physical traits from. Lots of blondes, and a few cousins who could pass as our sisters.

@LucyCan I have similar in my family on my dad's side too. Some of my school pics could pass for color versions of my dad or grandfather.
