Words We Wreck 1

I can see this could be like a series.

Ok, so I see this all the time and it drives me crazy!!! When you want to express that something happens because of a great process or perhaps even by magic, the word is NOT:

1. Walaa
2. Oualla
3. Valaah
4. Any other version like those

The word is voila. V-o-I-l-a

And if you didn't know how to spell it before, well then, voila! Now you know. :)

Do you not think that people may be possibly playing with the word? I have spelled it before in a funny way just cause as a filologist I find it a kind of humor, and I allow myself that because languages are my thing.. soo before you judge and think that everyone is dumb, try to give them a break :)

@Soultobe No, I haven't thought that people were playing with the word. They spell it wrong because they don't know the word. There aren't that many filologists in the world.

@Nat15 yeah but to play with language you dont have to be an academic filologist or sth. Many people find it fun, you have to recognize when its a dumb person being wrong (which again it can be a foreigner that just lacks knowledge of spelling, which is no biggie, they may be smarter than you ever thought). Aaand recognize when its just playing around

@Soultobe OH I'm not saying they are necessarily dumb. They're just using a word they don't know how to spell. That's all
