boil out the wound with peroxide or wash it with alcohol (depending how bad it is it will burn like hell
remove skin or debris like cloth from clothing that has got put into the wound with clean sterilized tweezers
if you have some on hand, apply some Lidocaine or you can use ice (I just go for it )find the smallest needle ,make sure its sterilized too and the thread and stitch ,
but I don't recommend you stitching yourself ,,improper care can lead to infection ,and debris still in the wound can keep it from healing properly ,
it needs to heal from the inside out ,not trapping any infection under a scab .
and you could need antibiotics ,so excessive redness or swelling go to an ER and have it done right .
I am trained in life saving procedures ,and I have the proper tools to do the job ,but most people can't actually cut or sow on themselves ,
its not something I recommend you learn practicing on yourself .
Now a pet ,that would be easier ,but I can tell you they are not going to like it very much ,,without a muzzle or someway to keep the mouth shut ,you might get bit again

@rckt148 thanks, and ik, we have muzzles on hand, but they they don't do much for the bigger one. XD
