Well, I count my blessings. I'm not dying of starvation and disease in the Horn of Africa, or living under a cruel despot in some crazy country with a draconian culture. I have a lot of troubles but I have this picture that I look at and post from time to time to put things in perspective for me.
@Barelygettingby I'm sorry. It's good that you have a heart though. I love humanity, but maybe all of our hearts need to hurt a little more in general.
@Barelygettingby I'm very heart sick, but kind of helpless to help right now. In the past, I have lived in luxury and decadence, and did nothing to cure world hunger other than not wasting food. Annually the US actually intentionally destroys enough food to stop world hunger. The food is destroyed in the name of capitalism, which I promote, but that is the dark side of capitalism.
@Barelygettingby The randomness of everything makes me believe in life after death more than anything else. There has to be some supernatural justice. There just has to be.
