I'm sure I miss a lot more than I notice. Just the idea of noticing everything around me is enough to give me a panic attack. I tend to create a kind of tunnel vision when I'm out. I see what's ahead of me and keep my peripheral vision for avoiding bumping into people or things, but ignore anything that isn't my business. Or at least things that don't forcibly attract my attention.
