I think intuition is a name we give to the collective partial knowledge that we have that we use to give or decrease weight when a guess or estimation lacking data is desired or required.
Because no knowledge is precisely arrived at through perfect means, all knowledge is less than complete.
So I suspect , but only have an intuition, that the faculty of intuition itself is a tool we have to gain more experience. Then through that method, more knowledge.
If that is so, intuition is an indispensable part of what makes knowledge, knowledge.
