I wished I'd got to know my relatives before they died

Yeah, you always wish you'd of spent more time with them than you had, but life works in its own way and we get caught up in the flow of the river.
After losing my granddad and my dad this year i second this.
Family's your only constant in life, next to knowing things always change, so we should embrace it while we can.

You could always adopt an elderly person who's been abandoned by those who they thought of as fam... After all everyone needs to feel special by someone

i'm fine with my immediate family. my fostered family .... well, most are gone now.
