Terrible day so far........

So I arrange to give a ride to a coworker who lives near me because she has her car at the shop. I pull into the driveway , get out to knock on the door and see that I ran over a their hamster. She sees it and tells me that her son's hamster got out of its cage 1 day ago and they couldn't find it. She did not tell her son and doesn't plan to. Running over your friends hamster is not the best way to start the day.
