Is 'Jihad' a good name for a new baby boy ... ?

A couple in the South of France has been referred to the public prosecutor after naming their son 'Jihad'.
Authorities in the Toulouse suburb of Leguevin were immediately alerted after the child, who was born in August, was given the Arabic name.
The name is likely to cause controversy in France, which has suffered from a series of Islamic terrorist attacks by jihadists in recent years

@Nimbus I'm sure which ever media source has reported it has blown the story out of proportion, to make the parents look like insensitive assholes and the French look like a bunch of racists, I don't pay much attention to any news tbh 🙂

@GLITTER It is biased towards the French.

Sometimes paying attention to the news can be eye opening, inspiring and important but something like this? I understand if you ignore it.

@Miram i agree and would much rather spend my time looking at environmental issues and people living in poverty and real news issues. Not a load of incessant waffle that drives racism through the world 🙂
