@SomeMichGuy Thank you. And I'm surprised by your knowledge! But unfortunately, I don't think Greeks should be told such things. We already seem to only rely on our past and our ancestors' achievements forgetting we have a future to fight for.

yes you are correct that Greece needs to realize it has a future as well as a past...I guess that so few Westerners (esp. Americans!) know of these crucial events that I like to mention them...

but I am glad that today's Greeks include persons like you, bc that makes me more optimistic about your Greece's future. 😁

Oh, it's true. Very few people nowadays know and unfortunately Greeks don't really know how to inform them. Probably cause we don't really know much about our past either. Only that we were "great and fucked up our evil enemies!" (Yes, that's the notion around here😕)
