Need a possible myth dispelled. Is it true

that if you keep your hand on the gear shift on a 5 speed it wrecks your gears? I love keeping my hand on the gear shift.

Don't ever worry about holding your shifter!just don't ride your clutch! That will burn it out! That would be the big problem! I'd say the myth is busted! Please don't worry!Lol!
