@Silverfox420 do/did you have a partner then? If so did you wake them to talk about the dream?

@FilthyBeast I did, and yes I was still with my ex then. I usually woke him kicking and screaming in my sleep. I couldn't talk about it, words wouldn't come out so he would simply hold me. I'll always be grateful to him for helping me through it.

Well. Aside from the 200 or so where I'm brutally and realistically and painfully killed in various ways. There was one I'll never forget.
I was 19. I dreamt that my best friend and I were at the park by my childhood home. The sky turned red and an exceedingly ominous atmosphere took hold. My best friend and I were near the monkey bars, and suddenly he has a hammer. A guy comes along, and J smiles the creepiest smile there ever was--one of pure pleasure and ecstasy--looks me straight in the eye, then smashes the guys head open.
Two "cleaners" showed up. So, J kills them, too, resulting in a bloody rain.
I really can't describe it as well as I'd like, but the experience was ridden with extreme anxiety and fear. Quintessentially ominous.
I think I was watching a lot of Dexter at the time. 🤔

A weird guy in a hospital gown with a metal cage over his head and disturbingly cartoonish dinner plate sized bulging eyes who was trying to murder me.
There was also the dream where I got a circular saw through the face and the sensation of it cutting through my teeth and jaw sticks with me to this day, but that was a different sort of disturbing.

I had the most disturbing dreams while pregnant. Many of them ...but the one that messed with my head most was while pregnant with my second child dreaming that my older child thought he was spiderman in his costume he never took off and fell from a high stair railing and died while i watched in horror
