What do you find appealing about yanderes?

I love how much they care about the person they love. I would love it if someone cared about me as much as a yandere would. Possibly without the murder but still that kind of love. I like the obsessiveness, even the clinginess which most guys hate for some reason. I can get a bit that way myself and it makes me feel as if they don't care when the other person isn't like that at all.
Also, Yuno Gasai is the only reason I binge watched Mirai Nikki/The Future Diary in one night

Is that a city or something?
