Does anybody know how to stop getting triggered by a roommate who keeps triggering something from childhood ?

Beat him up for talking about your mom

I have tried that but it triggers me to remember all the crap that went down at the time.

@jjbabb16 If you beat him up he won't bring it up ever again. Guys don't let other guys talk about their mom. You have to do this.

@jjbabb16 Is he really speaking about your Mom? Or accidently triggering you by doing the same? Does he know, you have a problem with it? Did you speak openly? Cause beating him will maybe just get you in trouble.
