Have you ever met these types of people?

People who seem almost 'supernatural' in nature. It's hard to describe. One time in Portland Oregon in 84. I was tramping in North Park blocks off of Burnside, and around midnight, this guy walks up with a guitar and sits down and plays the most exquisite music. I mean mind bendingly beautiful music, and then he gets up and says "Enjoy your stay on planet earth." and walks away. Or a person I met on a greyhound bus, who knew everything about where I was in my life and in my head. Obsessed isn't really the right word, but there have been a few times in my life when I was profoundly affected by another person who seemed somehow extraterrestrial in nature. Angelic is a word that comes to mind.

Profoundly affected by some but often simply ordinary people but especially wise and/or with especially good hearts

@SW-User Portland was a weird town for me in the early and mid 80's. There were complete strangers there who would show up out of the blue and call me by my name without me telling them, and another odd thing is that they all wore the same blue jeans, work boots, and flannel shirts. Like something from an old Steven King book.

@Peaches West or east. I lived in St. Helen's for while. I was working for Northern Geophysical. Drilling holes and planting dynamite to take seismic readings for natural gas. Pretty wild crew. Crazy days!
