So if you add up all numbers from 1 to infinity. You get a very large number. Now add up all the even numbers from 1 to infinity. ...

You also get a very large number. You get the same answer, infinity in both both answers. But one answer uses half the amount of numbers as the other one. Why cant i sleep?

Oh, btw, 1 isnt even, so you mean 2 to infinity I suppose...

EDIT Sorry, that sounded rude... It was not supposed to. Actually, the sum of all the even numbers from 2 to infinity is twice the sum of all numbers from 1 to infinity so = -1/6
