Why even bother with relationships anymore

Because not many people know how to love anymore, it's an every one for themselves world we are living in today.

They're difficult, but I'm trying to be better at them. Relationships are very important to me.

I don't ask myself "Why bother anymore". I ask myself "What would make me want to bother with this person?" It's a good thought experiment. Sometimes you'll find that the reasons you give yourself are really bad.

People need to be comfortable being alone, so that they can be better together.

On a serious note, relationships are anything but easy... but some people are worth it.
