there are two types of reproduction.. asexual reproduction which the organism reproduces by itself.. and sexual which requires dna from two individuals.. male and female is required each containing specific dna needed to reproduce and specific reproduction organs abling the passing of the genes. there are technically only 2 sexes.. even tho in today's society many people want to think of themselves as being whatever.. plus like in all living things genetic mutations occur.. where a cell doesnt split right or there are mutations with the sex dna.. giving rise to organisms with both genitalia or likeness of both sexes..

@SW-User by saying there are mulitple different sexes.. kind of yes.. because technically dna genetics wise there is really only 2 and well mutations.
