@Selah You could have simply replied "yes" or "no" as applicable. If "yes", don't include your Kik/Skype in the reply. If he then asks for it, simply reply "no". You don't have to give a reason, as it's none of a stranger's business, anyway. Maybe the smarter ones will get the hint and learn social skills accordingly.
