I got all teary eyed in the probation office when this meth addict girl started crying and saying "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do it."

She failed her UA and you could tell by looking at her that she was going to fail. She tested positive for meth. When she fell apart and started crying and saying, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." It just turned the water works on for me. That has to be one of the most poignant things I've heard in a long time. I knew exactly what she meant.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

What happens, could she go to rehab, jail doesn't help
@bookerdana There's all kinds of stuff out there. They didn't sent her to jail. Just back to court. Unfortunately the judge will probably send her back to jail. That's where you meet your connections. You're right about that. Jail can be a step but it takes a lot more to make a person want to stay clean. Meth is at least as bad as alcohol for the grip it has on some people.

I think worse,we gotta get a sensible way to deal with drug problems
@bookerdana Sadly it's natural selection. Drugs are dealing with people problems. Hate it, but that's the brutal reality.
