My youngest is essentially my clone with an extra helping of sass and snark.
Her teen years scare the hell outa me.

@ProdigalSummer oh mine too. She's so brave and full of confidence I never had and only a 1st grader. She's so smart and not afraid to call out when something is incorrect or unjust.
And on POINT with the sass snark sarcasm and wit. As frustrating as it can be, it's almost something to be proud of. LoL
Teen her is gonna be fierce.

Same here. I was a mini-bitch when I was younger. I pitied the kid who was like me. Hopefully she'll grow out of it.

My son is like me ...he broods and rolls around in all that misery...he thinks and questions and fights for what he believe is correct...no wonder we but heads! 😁

My kid has the best sense of humor and is kinda clumsy and disorganized (lol my best and worst) but she's way more outgoing and popular than I ever was.

Traits of. In all three !
I see them with their own struggles and think......i could say something here, maybe get them to think in a different direction ?
And then i think....this is their life ! maybe i'll stay out the way unless they ask.

@5thApprentice Breaks your heart though when they make the wrong decision having never considered an alternative !

@Picklebobble2 True that mate but one thing I've learned is sometimes people have to learn the hard way and for themselves.

@5thApprentice There's a truth ! My daughter cracks me up sometimes. So headstrong. So certain. And occasionally, so wrong !!!
Takes after her mother though she HATES me telling her that !

Never met any kid like me. Lately my son has echoed my words. It made me sad. We have to learn from our mistakes, 5th.

@PoetryNEmotion Wait. He has my sense of humour. And he cares like me. He is amazing. Ordinarily he would never have existed, but he does. And he is practical like me too. Thank you, 5th!
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
@PoetryNEmotion that's awesome! Glad the fella is alive and well

"Own" kids? Jesus Christ, dude. That went from 0 to child trafficking real quick.
suburbs · 22-25, F
Damn...I misread it. I really wish you said "own kids" though...
