Yeah I think it's ridiculous she got arrested too.
JustLikeGreta · F
Unbelievable, a sign of our times.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
Maybe she will bring a case for false arrest.

I am very supportive of first responders. Unfortunately there are some bullies who become officers to get paid for bullying. This guy had to know better. He was one of the bullies. For the most part police work is a noble calling, but it's like any other line of work as far as the caliber and quality of the 'workers' . There are some douchebags among them. They should probably be able to score a certain assessment on a Minnesota Personality Inventory. I think potential gun owners should also undergo MPI's ...

@puck61 cops in a small village near my boss's business pulled him over to give him a ticket for something that the boss knew was legal...he had to go to court and brought a copy of the law and it got thrown out. His friend was in the same business and another cop pulled him over for the same issue and he started reciting the law and the cop said "never mind" and let him go. Speed trap town and the police chief got busted with a big bag of a big variety of drugs in another county, believe they might have been taking them from people they pulled over and making a tidy little business with them.

As a nurse, I agree with her, going against protocol would have got her fired. Unless the officer had a warrant while the dude was unconscious, she has no reason to take his blood for the officer.

I spent 31 years of my life in law enforcement and that was beyond the pale. It is almost like there was a past history and a personal grudge. If indeed, he wasn't aware of the supreme court rulings, that is inexcusable too. If she decides to sue, it will be a matter of how many zeroes on the settlement because it is no win for the city.
The idiot made the comment that they couldn't get a warrant because they didn't have probable cause....then why in the hell would they try to collect it?

I dunno what this is about, so tell me.
Scorpiochild88 · 36-40, F
@SW-User a nurse got arrested for not drawing someone's blood while they was unconscious. He was a suspect or something. Most I got out of what my mother in law told me about it last night.

SW-User
@Scorpiochild88 I just read up on it. Those names are ridiculous though. Nurse Wubbels and Officer Payne.

Yes, but I heard I'm not allowed to have an opinion about it, as an European 😂

@SW-User Like that's stopped you before...😜

It was the shitz and she's got a lawyer, good for her. About time cops know the laws if they are gonna enforce them.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Does make you worry when you hear stories where cops are breaking the law.
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
After a quickle, I hope she takes them to court.

SW-User
No, what happened?
Ellen · 46-50, F
A real shame. The police officer should be brought to justice.
