Do you think hunting is bad?

Totally situational. I spend a ton of time in the wilderness and have a pretty tight relationship with nature. My take is that if you NEED to hunt for food and survival it's appropriate. Those types of hunters have a very deep respect for wildlife and the environment. They "take" and give thanks.

But if you WANT to hunt because you get off on the power? Or areas are opened to hunting for no other reason than permit fees? I think it's one of the weakest traits found in people.

What gets me is that talk talk talk about 'conservation." Total bullshit. Animals adapt to their surroundings. If there's not enough food they'll die and will have fewer offspring. JUST the way nature intended. What conservation really means to hunters is making sure they will always have an ample supply of things to kill so they can feel strong.

That's my opinion and this is one of those topics where I don't give two fucks what some hunter will say. So if any hunters want to pop off and tell me how wrong I am...save your time.

Not at all. I've never hunted personally but I eat mostly meat that is locally hunted or raised.

if you are not planning on eating the animal it is not hunting it is murder, but it could be a good kind of murder in order to keep the populations balanced. :)

Not really, as long as you use what you kill. But there are too many humans in existence for hunting to be a viable source of food and materials for more than just a small number of us.

As long as we can start hunting humans too. People are just as yummy as animals.

I think it should be monitored so as to not destroy a species of animal.
I also think the killing of that animal should be swift. No creature should be in pain and fear of what is happening, that's cruel. And I also believe if we are going to kill them we should be using every piece of that animal so it is not a life and body wasted.
