Why is it ok for omnivores to criticise a vegan diet

@Starsandfire Hmmmmm no .. pointing out that so many vegans yell about the killing of animals for food yet they eat a living item and its ok .

Just because you pull a carrot out of the ground it does not stop being a living thing .
You want a dead leaf of lettuce ... see a dried up and brown one .
Don't see to many eating that .
