is it true that in order for americans to be attracted to attending. one needs free beer present?

i meant no offense just read it from the book called "The Messenger" and wondering about it myself if Americans truly would attend an event so long as free beer is involved

or does beer attract every nationality?

I don't think it even needs to be beer. Look at all the crazies who get up at 4 am on Black Friday to get free stuffed animals.
